RESOLUTION NO. 10 -334 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, ADOPTING THE <br /> CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) FINDINGS FOR THE INITIAL <br /> STUDY AND MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PLEASANTON <br /> PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE MASTER PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for and received a grant from the <br /> Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) for $111,000 in Measure B <br /> funding for the creation of a Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton prepared a Draft Pedestrian and Bicycle Master <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City, acting as lead agency under the California Environmental Quality <br /> Act (CEQA) prepared an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration and determined that <br /> an Environmental Impact Report is not required; and <br /> WHEREAS, one comment was received regarding the Initial Study and Mitigated <br /> Negative Declaration and the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Plan will address the concern <br /> by including the requirement that each project investigate the current and historical usages of <br /> the property to determine if hazardous substances may be released during construction. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1: Adopts the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration for the <br /> Pleasanton Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan. <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on February 16, 2010. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 16 day of <br /> February, 2010, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> I <br /> Kare Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> C� t <br /> 41011a n Lowell, City Attorney <br />
