CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1101 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 (SEWERAGE CODE) OF <br /> TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON BY ADDING SECTION 2-15.30.01(c), <br /> MAXIMUM PE~{ISSIBLE DISCHARGE <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Section 2-15.30.01(c) of Article 4, Chapter 8 <br /> (Sewerage Code) of Title II of the Ordinance Code <br /> of the City of Pleasanton is hereby added to read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 2-15.30.01(c) ~.~aximum Permissible Discharge. <br /> No connection permit shall be issued if, based on <br /> the estimated Capacity required for the project as <br /> shown in the application, the Capacity required <br /> would exceed both (i) a rate of 3,000 gallons per <br /> day per net acre and (ii) a total Flow of 7,500 <br /> gallons per day unless the application has been <br /> approved by the City Council. If, after reviewing <br /> an application to exceed the maximum permissible <br /> discharge, the City Council determines that <br /> granting the connection permit would adversely <br /> affect the ability of the City to serve other New <br /> Users due to the scarcity of CaDacity and the <br /> percentage of such Capacity necessary for the <br /> project, the City Council may require measures be <br /> taken to reduce the Volume of Sewage Flow or may <br /> deny the application." <br /> <br />Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoDtion in "The <br /> Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton on September 13, 1983. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Pleasanton on September 27, 1983 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
