CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1101 ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 (SEWERAGE CODE) OF TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON BY ADDING SECTION 2-15.30.01(c), MAXIMUM PE~{ISSIBLE DISCHARGE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 2-15.30.01(c) of Article 4, Chapter 8 (Sewerage Code) of Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby added to read as follows: "Section 2-15.30.01(c) ~.~aximum Permissible Discharge. No connection permit shall be issued if, based on the estimated Capacity required for the project as shown in the application, the Capacity required would exceed both (i) a rate of 3,000 gallons per day per net acre and (ii) a total Flow of 7,500 gallons per day unless the application has been approved by the City Council. If, after reviewing an application to exceed the maximum permissible discharge, the City Council determines that granting the connection permit would adversely affect the ability of the City to serve other New Users due to the scarcity of CaDacity and the percentage of such Capacity necessary for the project, the City Council may require measures be taken to reduce the Volume of Sewage Flow or may deny the application." Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoDtion in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption.
