CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALA~IEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE ~!O. 1097 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-6.01, ARTICLE 1, <br /> CHAPTER 6 (I~ICREASE IN STATE SPEED LI~{.IT IN CERTAIN <br /> ZONES), TITLE V (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, STREETS AND- <br /> HIGHWAYS) OF THE ORDI?~ANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON REALTI?IG TO SPEED LIMITS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTO~ DOES nRDAIT~ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Article 1 (Increase in State Speed Limits in Certain <br /> cl <br /> Zones) of Chapter 6 (Speed Zones) of Title V (Vehi es <br /> and Traffic, Streets and Highways) of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended to add the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> D-1 Division Street. On Division Street between <br /> Del Valle Parkway and St. ~arvs Street, the speed <br /> limit shall be 30 miles per h~ur. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times ," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on August 9, 1983. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meetin~ of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on AuSust 23, 1983 by the followin~ vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mercer, ~ohr, I4ood and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~~~. <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ROBERT E.
