MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> November 3, 2009 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br /> Thorne led in the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Councilmember McGovern requested that Item 2 be pulled from the Consent Calendar for <br /> further discussion following Item 15. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes of October 6, 2009, special meeting <br /> minutes of October 20, 23 and 24, 2009 <br /> City Attorney <br /> 2. Moved to the regular agenda Second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 1999 <br /> amending the Growth Management Ordinance to allow the city council to override the <br /> annual housing allocation in order to meet the City's total regional housing needs, <br /> especially for exceptional affordable housing projects *McGovern voted no on <br /> introduction. <br /> City Manager <br /> 3. Approved agreement between the Pleasanton Downtown Association and the City of <br /> Pleasanton to administer the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District <br /> 4. Approved the Youth Master Plan Implementation Committee appointments of High School <br /> Youth Representatives Jason Gluck, Rachael Loewenhardt, Adam Manaa; Middle School <br /> Youth Representatives Elaine Cheng, Zane Manaa; Senior Citizen Community Member <br /> Jeff Parrett; High School Youth Representative/Young Lisa Shue <br /> Community Development <br /> 5. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 6. Approved renaming Reimers Drive to Bradford Way <br />
