RESOLUTION NO. 10 -332 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF CITIZENS' OPTIONS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY <br /> PROGRAM FUNDS (COPS) <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 19, 2010, the City Council was presented a report <br /> recommending the use of Citizens' Option for Public Safety (COPS) funds received from the <br /> State, as outlined in Section 30061 of the Government Code and in accordance with AB 1584. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the recommendations for expenditures <br /> of COPS funds as follows: <br /> Approximate <br /> Allocation <br /> Body Worn Video 10,000 <br /> Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) Training Mannequins 2,000 <br /> Traffic Safety Vests 6,800 <br /> Video Surveillance Equipment 5,000 <br /> Security System Phase Three Upgrade 15,800 <br /> Security System Software Upgrade and Licensing Rights 4,200 <br /> Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) Team Pistol Replacement 7,800 <br /> S.W.AT. Team Requalification Training 18,700 <br /> Simunitions Equipment 9,550 <br /> AR -15 Weapon Mounted Lighting System 6,250 <br /> Wireless Headsets for Police Dispatch Personnel 2,400 <br /> Firearms Automated Training System (F.A.T.S.) Equipment 11,500 <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br /> the book of original resolutions. <br /> SECTION 3.
