EXHIBIT THE CITY OF 111 111 June 13, 2008 pL£ ASANTON® Mari Kennard Redcoats British Pub and Restaurant 336 St. Mary Street Pleasanton, CA 94566 Dear Mari: RE: Request for an Outdoor Dining Permit (No. PDIN -31) and a Modification to an Existing Conditional Use Permit (No. PCUP -129) to allow Outdoor Dining with Alcohol Beverage Service until 10:00 p.m. in front of the Redcoats British Pub and Restaurant at 336 St. Mary Street. The Planning Division has reviewed your requests for an Outdoor Dining Permit and modification to the conditional use permit for the Redcoats British Pub and Restaurant to install a 14 -seat outdoor dining area with alcoholic beverage service in the public right -of -way in front of the business. Based on the information submitted, the Director of Planning and Community Development has determined that the outdoor dining area would not be detrimental to the public health, safety, and general welfare. In addition, the Director of Planning and Community Development finds that the proposed modification is consistent with the previous use permit findings made for this application. Therefore, pursuant to Sections 13.04.435 and 18.124.120 of the Municipal Code and Condition of Approval No. 3 of City Council Resolution No. CC -05 -008, the Director of Planning and Community Development hereby approves the outdoor dining permit and conditional use permit modification subject to the conditions of approval as shown on the attached "Exhibit B." This approval will become effective 15 days from the date of this letter unless appealed prior to that time.
