CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1290 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DOUGLAS SAFRENO TO REZONE <br /> APPROXIMATELY 9,600 SQ. FT. LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br /> FIRST STREET, APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET SOUTH OF THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF VINEYARD AVENUE AND FIRST STREET, FROM <br /> THE RM-2500 (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO THE CF <br /> (FREEWAY COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT (RZ-86-12) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas Safreno applied to have an approximately 9,600 <br /> sq. ft. site located on the east side of First Street <br /> approximately 150 feet south of the intersection of <br /> Vineyard Avenue and First Street, from "RM-2500" <br /> (Multi-family Residential) to "CF" (Freeway Commercial) <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration accompanied the General Plan <br /> amendment recently approved for the subject site, <br /> therefore no additional environmental document is <br /> necessary for this rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 2, <br /> 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 9,600 sq. <br /> ft. site located on the east side of First Street <br /> approximately 150 feet south of the intersection of <br /> Vineyard Avenue and First Street, from "R1~-2500" <br /> (Multi-family Residential) to "CF" (Freeway Commercial) <br /> District (RZ-86-12) <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #340, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" dated December 2, 1986, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
