CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1290 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF DOUGLAS SAFRENO TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 9,600 SQ. FT. LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF FIRST STREET, APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET SOUTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF VINEYARD AVENUE AND FIRST STREET, FROM THE RM-2500 (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO THE CF (FREEWAY COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT (RZ-86-12) WHEREAS, Douglas Safreno applied to have an approximately 9,600 sq. ft. site located on the east side of First Street approximately 150 feet south of the intersection of Vineyard Avenue and First Street, from "RM-2500" (Multi-family Residential) to "CF" (Freeway Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration accompanied the General Plan amendment recently approved for the subject site, therefore no additional environmental document is necessary for this rezoning; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 2, 1986; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 9,600 sq. ft. site located on the east side of First Street approximately 150 feet south of the intersection of Vineyard Avenue and First Street, from "R1~-2500" (Multi-family Residential) to "CF" (Freeway Commercial) District (RZ-86-12) Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #340, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated December 2, 1986, and incorporated herein by reference.
