CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 12.85 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH MADDEN AND SOUTHERN <br /> PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY <br /> 7.6 ACRES LOCATED IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF AND PARALLEL TO <br /> STANLEY BOULEVARD, BETWEEN STANLEY BOULEVARD/FIRST <br /> STREET AND A POINT APPROXIMATELY 3,350 FEET <br /> NORTHEASTERLY OF THAT INTERSECTION TO THE PUD (PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT)-COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (PUD-86-14) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joseph Madden and Southern Pacific Transportation <br /> Company applied to have an approximately 7.6 acre site <br /> located immediately north of and parallel to Stanley <br /> Boulevard, between Stanley Boulevard/First Street and a <br /> point approximately 3,350 feet northeasterly of that <br /> intersection rezoned to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Commercial District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> November 18, 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 18, <br /> 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 7.6 acre <br /> site located immediately north of and parallel to <br /> Stanley Boulevard, between Stanley Boulevard/First <br /> Street and a point approximately 3,350 feet <br /> northeasterly of that intersection to the PUD (Planned <br /> Unit Development)-Commercial District, subject to the <br /> conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #337, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "B" dated November 18, 1986, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
