Actions of the Planning Commission, November 18, 2009 Special Meeting <br /> Commissioners Present: Phil Blank, Greg O'Connor; Kathy Narum, Jennifer Pearce, <br /> and Jerry Pentin <br /> Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Olson <br /> PPOL 1, City of Pleasanton <br /> Review and consideration of a Planning Policy regarding the definition and licensing of <br /> child care uses. <br /> This item was continued to a future Planning Commission meeting. <br /> PCUP 257, Mari Kennard, Redcoats British Pub and Restaurant <br /> Application to modify the approved Conditional Use Permit (PCUP -129) for the <br /> operation of Redcoats British Pub and Restaurant to expand the days /hours for indoor <br /> music. Zoning for the property is Central Commercial (C -C), Downtown Revitalization, <br /> Core Area Overlay District. <br /> Action recommended: Approval. <br /> Action taken: Approved per staff, with a modification to Condition No. 6 to require the <br /> applicant to install directional signage to the designated smoking area, <br /> the design and location of which are subject to the review and approval of <br /> the Director of Community Development. <br /> Vote: 5 -0. <br /> PRZ 46, City of Pleasanton <br /> Review and consideration of amendments to Chapter 18.104 and various related <br /> sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding Home Occupations. <br /> Action recommended: Recommend approval. <br /> Action taken: Recommended approval per staff, with the following modifications to <br /> Section 18.104.030, Requirements to Obtain a Zoning Certificate: <br /> 1. Delete Item F regarding the business being incidental and subordinate <br /> to the use of the residence; and <br /> 2.
