5 V <br />MAYOR OXSEN asked Ramseier why Bids to.the Effluent plant Spreading Field were so <br />much above his estimates. <br />Ramseier stated that his estimate was based on Farm Type Land Leveler rather than <br />heavy earth moving equipment, which was the type equipment on which bids were based, <br />and they in turn would have sub contracted pipe line. <br />Roy Ramseier suggests hireing farm type leveler by the day labor and hiring pipe <br />Contractor on a daily labor r.basis. 4 <br />MAYOR OXSEN asked Councilman Abrott to contact Meyers on hourly basis land leveling. <br />COUNCIL asked Attorney Gale for his opinion. <br />ATTORNEY GALE'S reply was that it could be handled as suggested. <br />COUNCILMAN TRIMINGHAM asked Ramseier how much more the Sewage Disposal Plant could <br />handle than at, present. <br />Ramseier stated that at present plant handled 100 gallons a minute which could be <br />increased to 200 gallons a minute, and could even be increased 1/2 million gallons <br />a day by adding chemicals during the winery season. <br />COUNCILMAN TRIMINGHAM asked Ramseier what should be allowed in the budget for the <br />Sewage Disposal Plant depreciation. <br />RAMSEIER says mechanical depriciation should be based on 10 yrs. and tank deprecia= <br />tion 50 yrs. for which fund should be set up. <br />PLANS SPECIFICATIONS for Bernal St Mary's Streets Division of Highways were <br />put before the Council for approval. <br />MAYOR OXSEN asked should specifications be read. <br />COUNCILMAN TRIMINGHAM made a motion to waive reading of specifications Bernal <br />St. Mary's Streets, seconded by Councilman Abrott and approved by all Councilman <br />present. <br />MAYOR OXSEN asked for approval on Resolution No. 2165. Motion was made by Council- <br />man Trimingham.& seconded by Councilman Abrott approved by all Coucilmen present. <br />MAYOR OXSEN read a letter from Alameda County Fair Association Committee asking <br />the Council to participate in the parade. <br />Councilman Trimingham stated he had made arrangements for a car for the Councilmen. <br />SUBJECT of Angela St., curb gutters was brought up by Mayor Oxsen. <br />Attorney Gale was asked legal way to proceed. <br />ATTORNEY GALE stated Contractor be asked for estimates on work by each property <br />owner who in turn should be asked to deposit the amount of his estimate with the <br />City Clerk. <br />THE COUNCILMEN all agreed that the property owners should be notified by letter <br />given a definete time limit to make deposit. <br />Letter was read from League of Calif Cities. <br />CLERK was asked to make 5 reservations. <br />COUNCILMAN ABROTT stated that Engineer Goodridge suggests passing an Ordinance requir- <br />ing copy of all surveys made by any Surveyor in the Town of Pleasanton be filed in the <br />City Clerk's office. <br />MAYOR OXSEN asked Councilman Abrott to acquire data by which an Ordinance could be <br />drafted. <br />Letter from Engineer Goodridge regarding errors, in the Deed granting the Town of <br />Pleasanton additional width to Kottinger Avenue. <br />ATTORNEY GALE suggested the Council authorize Engineer Goodridge to take up the matter <br />with the Title Search Company and straighten out errors. <br />ATTORNEY GALE stated that Title Insurance Policy for property purchase for Sewage <br />Disposal Plant area had been issued. <br />CLERK was advised to the necessary data so <br />Pleasanton money due on transaction. <br />Councilman Abrott quoted prices on avaliable Air <br />Loi Roi 60 cu. ft. <br />Hose Tools <br />Rand 60 cu. ft. <br />Hose Tools <br />Central Equip <br />Hose Tolls <br />Rental Rig. $100.00 per. <br />State can approve <br />Compressors. <br />$2,100.00 <br />785.40 <br />2,040.00 <br />810.70 <br />785.45 <br />month (service <br />pay Town of <br />it) <br />
