April <br />FIRE CHIEF reported: <br />3 Fires 3 in Town (0 out of Town) <br />During the last rain and wind storm, the Fire Alarm Sirens shorted out in the <br />middle of the night, causing quite a disturbance. Called out the Electrician, <br />P.G. &E. Co. Tree Surgeon, and some of the Fireman, to try to stop the sirens <br />from blowing. I am glad to say that The Fire Patrol Committee is giving a <br />Card Party Carnival, Saturday, May 12th., at the Fair Grounds, to raise <br />funds to purchase a new truck to replace the Ford.
