Bone <br />Recess <br />The board then took a brief recess during whict the finance committee inspected claims <br />and the officers monthly reports. After the board was again called to order Trustee Pick- <br />arrd of the Finance committee reported that the committeed had examined and approved claims <br />nos. 82 to 110 inclusuve, with the exception of Claim no. 88, amounting to $1295.48, <br />and moved that the clerk be instructed to draw warrants in the treasurer in payment of <br />the varous claimants. The mtion was carried by unanimous vote. <br />Trustees 46icktard also reported as paving examined and approved the officers' monthly <br />reports and they were placed on file. <br />Resolution No. 992 <br />Nhereas, The ,29th installment of interest on the municipal Bond amounting; <br />$585.00 is now due and payable. <br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasnton, that the clerk <br />be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw a warrait on the town treasurer <br />in favor of E. L. ,Benedict for the sum of $585.00 in payment of municipal bond intesest. <br />Theadottion of this esolution was moved by Trustee Pickard, seconded by Trustee <br />Orloff and carried by the .following vote: <br />Ayes; Trustees Pcikard, Garatti, Bairos, Orloff and Bruce. <br />Noes; None. <br />Absent None. <br />Dr. J. Hal Cope health officer presented a verbal report on health conditions in <br />Town. <br />The clerk was instructed to write Engineer posey delative to water drainage at <br />Bernal Avenuem Abbie street, Spring street, Ray street and opposite Ray street. <br />The clerk_was instrcuted to again communicate with the Western Pacific Railroad <br />Company a and the Southern Pacific Railroad company relative to the placing to warning <br />stkgnals at points where their tracks cross public streets in the town. <br />The clerk was also instructed to write to the Western Pacific Company relative <br />to the excessive rate of speed maintained by some of their trains in the Torun. <br />There being no further busines the Board a jour Ad until the next regular meeting. <br />��i <br />4OW'i{, <br />Approved: <br />President of Board of 'Town Trustees. <br />Town Clerk <br />
