Resolution No. 983
<br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton that the
<br />Town Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw warrants on the
<br />Town Treasurer in favor of the persons named below for the amounts respectfvely
<br />set opposite their names:
<br />C. Letham, town Clerk. 75.00
<br />E. L. Benedict, town treasurer 10.00
<br />Frank C. Nevis, mesrahl, supt streets, water collector' 1135.00
<br />Wm. H. Graham 10.00

<br />The above resolution was adopted this 4th day of August, 1924, on motion of
<br />Trustee Garatti, seconded by Trustee Bairos and the following vote:
<br />Ayes; Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Bairos, Orloff and Bruce.

<br />Absent; None.

<br />Whereas, pursuant to reutstions duly issued according to law, Neptune Meter
<br />Company had delivered to the engineer of the Town of Pleasanton, a water meter
<br />and connections of the value of ;42.51, invoices for which have been received by
<br />the Town of Pleasanton, and approved by the Town Engineer.
<br />Be it Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton, that the
<br />clerk be and he is hereby authorized and instructed -to draw a warrant on the Town
<br />treasurer in favor of Neptune Meter compamy for the sum of forty -two and 51/100
<br />dollars in payment of said bill.
<br />The adoption of this resolution was moved by Trustee Pickard, seconded by Trustee
<br />Garatti, and carried by the following vote:
<br />Ayes; Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Bairos, Orloff and Bruce.
<br />Nones; None.
<br />Absent: None.

<br />Resolution No. 985
<br />Be It resolved bybthe Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton that Main
<br />street in the Town of Pleasanton, from the northern boundry of the town to the coutneru
<br />boundry of the town is hereb:: declared to lie within the business district, and the
<br />superintendent of streets is hereby instructed and empowered to cause metal signs to
<br />be pl ced on said Main street at the boundry lines of said business district in ac-
<br />cordance with the provisions of sec. 115 of the Motor Vehicle Act of the State
<br />of California, Statutes of 1923, at page 254.
<br />Be it Further resolved that al]. streets within the boundaries of the Town of
<br />Pleasanton, excepting therefrom Main street the Northern boundry line to the
<br />southern boundary line of the Town of Pleasanton, are hereby declared to lie
<br />within a residence district, and the Superintendent of streets is hereby instructed
<br />and empowered to cause metal signs to be placed on said streets at the boundary lines
<br />of sadd r sidence•district in accordance with the provisions of section 116 og the
<br />Motor Vehicle Act of the State of California, Statutes of 1923, at page 555.
<br />The adoption of the foregoing resolution as moved by Trustee Bairos, seconder
<br />by Trustee Orloff and carried by the following vote:
<br />Ayes; Trustees Pickard, G aratti, Bairos, Orloff and Bruce.

<br />Resolution No. 986
<br />Whereas, The Pleasanton Fire Department is in urgent need of additional fire
<br />apparatus and the sum of $318.50 will be reasonably required for the urchase of
<br />such necessary apparatus,
<br />Be It resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton, that the
<br />clerk be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to draw a warrant on the Town
<br />Treasurer infgaor of the Pleasanton Fire Department for the sum of $314.60 for
<br />the purchase of fire apparatus.
<br />.The adoption of the foregoing resolution was moved by Trsutee Garatti, seconded
<br />by Trustee Orloff, and carried by the following vote:
<br />Ayes; Trustees Pickard, Garatti, Orloff Bairos and Bruce.
