CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-130 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE POLICY FOR <br />CONNECTION TO SEWER AND WATER SERVICES IN <br />THE HAPPY VALLEY AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 3, 2002, the City Council received the report of the <br /> Director of Public Works and the Director of Planning and Community <br /> Development (SR 02:284) regarding the options for use within the areas where <br /> laterals will be installed along Alisal Street and Sycamore Road; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The policy for connection to water and sewer services in the Happy Valley area is <br />to allow a connection to any existing house, or to any new house on an existing, <br />vacant lot of record, with the requirement that the property owner, in either case, <br />execute a pre-annexation agreement and such other requirements to ensure City <br />land use and fiscal policies are followed. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 3, 2002 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FQ.R, M:m ,~ <br /> <br />Peggy L~.~E4~i~'o~ City~lerk - <br /> <br />Michael H.
