CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1263 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.08.050(C) OF PLEASANTON <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING AUTOMATIC FIRE EXTINGUISHING <br /> SYSTEMS IN RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Section 20.08.050(c) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "C. Any structure in an area determined to be a high <br /> fire hazard area by the Chief of the Pleasanton <br /> Fire Department, except in any residential <br /> structure, only kitchen and livingroom areas shall <br /> have installed automatic fire extinguishing <br /> systems." <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on July 1, 1986. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on July 15, 1986 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Wood ~~/;~_~./~,~.~_~~~y <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: J .
