CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-119 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2001-02 FISCAL YEAR <br />END FINANCIAL REPORT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each year a report of financial condition is presented to Council which includes <br />any staff recommendations for budget amendments, carryovers, establishment of <br />reserves, technical corrections or actions needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report (SR 02:265) for the fiscal year ending <br /> June 30, 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the year end financial review, staffmade numerous recommendations <br /> as outlined in that report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That the 2001-02 Operating Budget be amended as shown in Appendix A. <br /> <br />Section 2: That the Operating Budget carryovers be approved as detailed in Appendix C. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />That the 2001-02 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) appropriations be amended <br />to agree with 2001-02 Actual Expenditures, as displayed in Appendix D. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />That the Capital Improvement Budget carryovers be approved as detailed in <br />Appendix D. <br /> <br />Section 5: <br /> <br />That all the General Fund Reserves be fully appropriated and all designations <br />made as shown on page 8 of SR 02:265, including adding $2.5 million to the <br />Capital Projects Reserve to be used in Fiscal Year 2002-03 for the City's share of <br />the Vineyard Corridor Phase I infrastructure improvements. <br /> <br />Section 6: <br /> <br />That all other balances be fully appropriated as shown in Appendix B and D, and <br />designated as contingency reserves for existing and future, known and unknown, <br />obligations. <br /> <br /> <br />
