THE CITY OF 6 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLE ASANTONo <br /> October 20, 2009 <br /> September 15, 2000 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: ADOPT RESOLUTIONS APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS <br /> AND APPROVING THE DRAFT PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE MASTER <br /> PLAN <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City of Pleasanton was awarded a grant of $111,000 for preparation of a <br /> Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan in 2007. The Draft Master Plan is complete and <br /> ready for City Council review and adoption. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Find that the Initial Study and Proposed Negative Declaration conforms to the <br /> requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and adopt the <br /> attached resolution (Attachment 1) approving the Environmental Findings, the <br /> Initial Study, and Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Pedestrian and Bicycle <br /> Master Plan. <br /> 2. Adopt the resolution (Attachment 2), adopting the City of Pleasanton Pedestrian <br /> and Bicycle Master Plan, dated June 2009. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact as a result of this action. The projects identified within the <br /> Master Plan will be constructed as City funding or grant funding becomes available. <br />
