Box 520 <br /> Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> PREANNEXATION AND PROVISION OF WATER AND SEWERAGE <br /> FACILITIES AND SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made this day of 2009 between the City of Pleasanton, <br /> a municipal corporation (City) and Thomas and Barbara Daggett (Owners). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. Owners are the owners of certain real property located at 6034 Alisal Street, <br /> Pleasanton, CA, more particularly described in Exhibit A (the Exhibit A property) <br /> and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> 13. Owners wish to connect the Exhibit A property to the City sewer system in order <br /> to eliminate the need to repair and reconstruct an existing septic tank and leach <br /> field system. <br /> C. Owners wish to connect the Exhibit A property to the City water system to <br /> eliminate reliance on an existing water well. <br /> D. Generally, City policy requires property to be annexed prior to extending such <br /> City services as water and sewer service. <br /> E. Owners are willing to annex the Exhibit A property either as part of a larger <br /> annexation or as part of a smaller annexation involving properties and other <br /> property contiguous to the City. <br /> F. The public health, safety, and welfare of the City's residents are well served by <br /> eliminating the need for water wells and septic tanks and by connecting to the <br /> City's water and sewer system. <br /> G. City is willing to extend its sewer and water services only if there are assurances <br /> that the properties won't be further subdivided without approval of the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, City and Owners hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. Sewer and Water Service. Owners may connect to City's sewer and water <br /> systems prior to the City's annexation of the properties upon the satisfaction of the following <br /> conditions: <br />
