These services include job development, <br /> employer education, job readiness assessment, and training for <br /> clients to overcome barriers to employment, linkages to other <br /> employment resources, job placement, and follow -up services. <br /> Increasing education about mental illness in the business <br /> community empowers clients to contribute more to their <br /> communities and rely less on public assistance. Currently <br /> CLC is fully staffed and expected to remain stable. <br /> CAPE, Inc. $5,000 $1,250 Bilingual mental health services were provided to very low- Create a suitable living Availability Public Service 20 <br /> income Head Start children and their families attending the environment Accessibility <br /> Hill n' Dale Preschool. CAPE was able to provide culturally <br /> and linguistically appropriate mental health counseling service <br /> hours to Spanish speaking families. Funds were not <br /> completely expended due to issues related to staff changeover <br /> and will be carried over for use in FY 2009. <br /> City "Section $21,474 $21,474 CDBG funds were used to repay on the 6th of 11 annual loan <br /> 108" Loan payments to the City of Livermore for a HUD Section 108 <br /> Repayment loan. The loan was used to acquire and rehabilitate the former <br /> Family Crisis Shelter. The facility was reopened in 2003 <br /> under its new name, 'Sojourner House."
