Public Comment <br /> Fred Norman noted that Pleasanton's behavior characteristic for September is responsibility and <br /> Council members should take responsibility, both individually and collectively, for their actions <br /> and inactions. He asked what responsibility means if it does not apply to the 5,154 American <br /> troops killed, and he urged the Council to take a stance on the wars. <br /> Kathy Dowding reported that August was the deadliest month for U.S. forces in nearly 8 years of <br /> involvement in Afghanistan.
