ORDINANCE NO. 1994 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING SECTION 18.84.090 <br /> (SIDE AND REAR YARDS REQUIREMENTS AND EXCEPTIONS) OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ -27 <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 8, 2009, the Planning Commission recommended that <br /> the City Council amend Section 18.84.090 (Side and rear yards Requirements and <br /> exceptions) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding fencing; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 18, 2009, the City Council reviewed the report of <br /> the Director of Community Development regarding amendments to Section 18.84.090 (Side and <br /> rear yards Requirements and exceptions) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and the <br /> recommendations of the Planning Commission. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the proposed amendments to the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code are consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> SECTION 2. Section 18.84.090 (Side and rear yards Requirements and exceptions) <br /> of the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding fencing are amended to read as set forth in Exhibit <br /> A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> SECTION 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton on September 1, 2009 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> And adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br /> September 15, 2009 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br />
