CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1233 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING THE "VESTING TENTATIVE MAP" <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE STATE SUBDIVISION MAP ACT BY THE <br /> ADDITION OF PROCEDURES TO THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Article 4.5, "Vesting Tentative Maps" is hereby added <br /> to Chapter 1, ,,Subdivisions," Title II, "Zoning and <br /> Development" of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Article 4.5 <br /> <br /> Vesting Tentative Maps <br /> <br />§2-2.60 Purpose. The purpose of this Article is to establish a <br /> procedure for approval of tentative maps that provide <br /> certain statutorily vested rights to subdividers under <br /> the Subdivision Map Act. <br /> <br />§2-2.61 Definitions. In this Article: <br /> <br /> (a) "Vesting tentative map" is a representation of a <br /> subdivision which has been filed, processed and <br /> approved in accordance with the Subdivision Map Act <br /> and this Article and which has printed <br /> conspicuously on its face the words "Vesting <br /> Tentative Map;" <br /> <br /> (b) All other definitions as set forth in this Chapter <br /> and the Subdivision Map Act shall apply. <br /> <br /> §2-2.62 Applicability. This Article applies only to residential <br /> subdivisions. Beginning January 1, 1988, this Article <br /> will also apply to non-residential subdivisions. <br /> <br /> §2-2.63 Procedure. <br /> <br /> (a) Option to file vesting tentative map. When a <br /> tentative map is required by this Chapter, a <br /> vesting tentative map may be filed. <br /> <br /> (b) Filing. A vesting tentative map shall be filed in <br /> the same manner as a conventional tentative map but <br /> shall have printed conspicuously on its face <br /> "Vesting Tentative Map" before it shall be accepted <br /> by the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
