CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1231 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II, CHAPTER 17 OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE (TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Title II, Chapter 17, Section III(f) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended to read as follows: ,,(f) "Employer" shall mean any public or private employer, including the City, who has a permanent place of business in the City. For purposes of this ordinance, the maximum number of employees on the largest shift shall determine the size of the employer. "Employer" shall not include: i. home occupations as defined in Section 2-5.21; ii. contractors with no permanent place of business in the City; iii. other businesses with no permanent work place location; iv. government agencies not required by law or regulation to follow local regulations; and v. school districts with respect to employees actually employed at school sites." Section 2: Title II, Chapter 17, Section III(d)(2) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended to read as follows: "(2) any non-retail multi-tenant building or group of buildings with fifty (50) or more employees at the single site, which is not included within the definition of "complex" pursuant to Section III(d)(1) above." Section 3: Title II, Chapter 17, Section XI(a)(1) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended to read as follows: "(1) The fine shall be an amount not exceeding fifty dollars ($50) for the first infraction, an amount not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100) for a
