The site of Barone's is zoned CC (Central Commercial) as noted in the <br /> previous CUP, "one of the purposes of the "C" District is to provide opportunities for amusement <br /> establishments for the convenience of the public." The requested use is in keeping with those of nearby <br /> businesses and will provide entertainment for the enjoyment of the individuals and families shopping, <br /> dining and strolling throughout our downtown. Outdoor entertainment encourages people to stay <br /> downtown helping to avoid the proverbial, "sidewalks rolling up after dark Additionally, outdoor <br /> entertainment has proven to be tremendously beneficial for expanding the retail opportunities into <br /> evening.
