CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1355 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br /> PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 63 ACRE SITE FROM THE "A" <br /> (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO THE "PUD (PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT)-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL/RURAL DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL/PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY" DISTRICT LOCATED <br /> ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF OLD DUBLIN CANYON ROAD <br /> APPROXIMATELY 4,800 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br /> FOOTHILL ROAD AND OLD DUBLIN CANYON ROAD (RZ-87-13) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an <br /> approximately 63 acre site located on the south side of <br /> Old Dublin Canyon Road approximately 4,800 feet west of <br /> the intersection of Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon <br /> Road from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the "PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential/Rural <br /> Density Residential/Public Health and Safety" District; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> February 2, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 2, <br /> 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 63 acre <br /> site located on the south side of Old Dublin Canyon Road <br /> approximately 4,800 feet west of the intersection of <br /> Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon Road, which land is <br /> involved in Annexation No. 119, from the "A" <br /> (Agricultural) District to the "PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Low Density Residential/Rural Density <br /> Residential/Public Health and Safety" District, subject <br /> to the condition that the property be restricted to <br /> those uses consistent with the Williamson Act (namely <br /> the uses allowed within the "A" (Agricultural) District) <br /> until such time as the current agricultural contract <br /> expires or is canceled. <br /> <br /> <br />
