Public Facilities and Community Programs Element <br /> Policy 8: Coordinate with the School District to maintain elementary schools within student walking distance whenever feasible <br /> and allow other community related activities within these facilities. <br /> Program 8.1: Partner with the School District and community groups to use schools as neighborhood centers. These <br /> neighborhood centers should offer a wide range of services and programs. <br /> Library Facilities and Programs <br /> Goal 5: Enhance the quality of Pleasanton library services. <br /> Policy 9: Provide sufficient sites and improvements for a full range of library facilities to serve existing and future development <br /> Program 9.1: Annually review the operation and usability of the library.
