Friday, Feb. 20, 2009
City of Pleasanton Planning Commission
200 Old Bernal Rd.
Pleasanton, CA 94566
To Whom It May Concern:
Because of the fact that those who support the conversion of Vineyard Villa to resident
ownership will receive a 15% discount when this occurs, I have been put between a rock
and a hard place. I would prefer that everything remain the same as it is now. But in my
own best interest I must do what I can to qualify for the discount,
The conversion will indeed be a hardship on most of us who are on fixed incomes and
don't really want a mortgage at this stage of our lives. Because the rents will rise
substantially for those of us just over the low income status, and we don't know what the
land will be valued at, it is very difficult to know what we will do. I hope to remain in my
home for many years to come. That is what I planned when 1 moved here.
i would like to thank the City of Pleasanton for all the help and concern they have shown
us. We all hope that this works out well for all concerned.
Sincerely,
04c7frist
Lois M.
