EXHIBIT B Conditions of Approval Case PUD-98-07-2M Applied Biosystems August 6, 2002 Condition of approval no. 26 of City Council Ordinance No. 1808 is modified to read as follows: 26. All on- and off-site improvements and building construction activities shall be limited to the construction hours and regulations described below: (a) On-site Improvements and Building Construction (i) Construction activities are limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. "Quieter" work that generates low-noise levels is also allowed fi.om 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. (ii) Interior construction taking place completely within an enclosed structure (i.e., a building with walls, windows, doors, and a roof) shall be unlimited; deliveries, however, shall be limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Windows and doors shall remain closed during construction. (b) (iii) (iv) Sunol (i) If future complaints are received regarding the extended construction hours, the Planning Director may modify or revoke the extended construction hours. Ali construction equipment must meet DMV noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. Boulevard Street Improvements Construction outside of the existing traffic lanes (e.g., widening the roadway) shall be limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work that generates low-noise levels (e.g., surveying and staking, setting forms for curb and gutter, laying/pulling electrical wiring, etc.) is also allowed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
