CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-091 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF PONDEROSA HOMES, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PUD-18 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of August 20, 2002, the City Council received a proposed negative <br />declaration for the application of Ponderosa Homes for Planned Unit Development <br />prezoning to PUD-LDR/MDR/HDR/P&I and Mixed P&I/MDR (Planned Unit <br />Development Low Density Residential/Medium Density Residential/High <br />Density Residential/Public & Institutional and Mixed Public & <br />Institutional/Medium density Residential) and development plan approval for 175 <br />new single-family homes, plus two existing homes; 16 duets; a 172-unit senior <br />apartment project; and a churcbdday care facility on approximately 92 acres <br />located northwesterly of the Operations Service center, between Busch Road and <br />Mohr Avenue and easterly of the former Southem Pacific Railroad Corridor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 8, 2002, and <br /> received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held at which time the public was given the <br /> opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
