THE CITY OF 16a <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> FL EASANTONa <br /> July 21, 2009 <br /> Mayor City Council <br /> TITLE: COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In accordance with commission appointment policies, in the spring and fall the City <br /> solicits applications from interested Pleasanton residents to serve on the City's standing <br /> commissions and committees, as well as on regional boards and commissions to which <br /> the City appoints representatives. <br /> Recently, the City solicited applications through local newspaper advertisements. <br /> Applications were received and interviews held. The Mayor's appointments are listed <br /> on the following page. The Council is asked to ratify these appointments. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments to various City commissions <br /> and committees as listed on the attached table. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br /> Approve by: <br /> Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
