local representative about the expected time when the grid framework in which the Work will be installed is to be installed at the site. 2) When the City's representative advises (by phone, email or facsimile) Glass Studio Peters' local representative that the building is ready for the field measurement, Glass Studio Peters' local representative shall come to the site to carry out such field measurement within seven (7) business days. If the grid framework in which the Work will be installed is erected on the building, the General Contractor shall allow Glass Studio Peter's local representative to use the General Contractor's ladders, scaffolding, or crane to access the grid framework for taking the field measurement. B. Fabrication. Glass Studio Peters shall fabricate the Work, as generally described in Exhibit A, in consultation with the Artist, as based on the size specifications of the drawings provided by W.A.Thomas' subcontractors, and as confirmed or modified by the field measurement. The fabrication shall immediately commence after the field measurements are provided by Glass Studio Peters' local representative. C. Delivery of the Work. 1) Glass Studio Peters, or its agents, shall deliver the Work to the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton, California, within three and one -half months of the date of the field measurement by Glass Studio Peters' local representative. i. This includes the time and costs needed for Glass Studio Peters, or its agents, to have the Work enter the United States through the proper U. S. Customs procedures. 2) Upon the delivery of the Work to the Firehouse Arts Center, the City's representative shall contact Glass Studio Peters' local representative, who shall come to the site within three (3) days, and who will supervise the unpacking of the Work by the General Contractor, and the parties shall inspect the shipment to determine whether any portions of the Work were damaged or lost during delivery. 3) Glass Studio Peters' local representative shall give notice to the General Contractor's agent, Sam Huckaby of O'Connor Construction Management at (925) 485 -1341, of the specific date and time when the Work will be delivered to the site; which notice shall be at least forty -eight (48) hours in advance of such delivery. D. Consulting During Installation. Within three (3) business days following the supervised unpacking of the Work, Glass Studio Peters' local representative shall start to provide on -site coordination and consultation with the General Contractor, or its subcontractor, regarding the installation of the Work at the Firehouse Arts Center.
