MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> June 16, 2009 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Cook Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br /> Thorne led in the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. He introduced and <br /> commended Corporal Tyler Schmidt, U.S. Marine Corps; and PFC Matt Grubbs, U.S. Army for their <br /> service and spoke of their accomplishments and military service. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook Kallio <br /> Absent: Councilmember McGovern, Mayor Hosterman <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho reported that Item 2 is continued to a subsequent meeting. Councilmember <br /> Thorne announced his abstention from the minutes of May 19, 2009. <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved the special meeting minutes of March 23, 2009 and regular meeting minutes of May <br /> 19, 2009. Thorne abstained from 05/19 minutes. <br /> City Attorney <br /> 2. Continued approval of a lease with Verizon Wireless for cellular antenna facilities on city <br /> property located near the Bernal Corporate Business Center <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator <br /> 4. Adopted Resolution 09 -298 confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009 -2010 <br /> annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1993 -1 (Windsor); <br /> Adopted Resolution 09 -299 confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009 -2010 <br /> annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1994 -1 (Oak Tree Farm); <br /> Adopted Resolution 09 -300 confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009 -2010 <br /> annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1993 -2 (Bonde Ranch); <br /> Adopted Resolution 09 -301 confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009 -2010 <br /> annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1995 -1 (Moller Ranch) <br /> and Adopted Resolution 09 -302 confirming the engineers report and levying the 2009 -2010 <br /> annual assessment for Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District 1984 -1 (Ponderosa) <br /> Vice Mayor Cook Kallio opened the public hearing. <br />
