8. Letter from Tim Barry, General Manager, Livermore Area Recreation Park District <br /> 8.1 Comment noted. <br /> 8.2 Comment noted. <br /> 8.3 Comment noted. In the proposed General Plan Sub Regional Planning Element, Policy 13 <br /> addresses the issue of enhancing community identity through the protection of community <br /> separators, scenic hillsides, and ridgelines, and Program 13.1 encourages that preservation <br /> through the land dedication /acquisition and conservation easements using the Tri-Valley <br /> Conservancy and other entities. <br /> 8.4 Comment noted. Program 9.3 of the Draft Conservation and Open Space Element would <br /> coordinate with other agencies on trails. This program could be changed to: <br /> Continue to coordinate with Livermore, the Livermore Area Recreation Park <br /> District. Dublin, Sunol, and the East Bay Regional Park District to develop trails <br /> linking recreation and open -space areas. <br /> 8.5 Comment noted. Staff will ensure that the Livermore Area Recreation Park District is <br /> included as an interested party in the East Pleasanton Specific Plan process. <br /> 8.6 Comment noted. Staff suggests the following addition to the Draft Subregional Planning <br /> Element, Program 5.4: <br /> Work with regional agencies such as East Bay Regional Park District, and Livermore <br /> Area Recreation and Park District and support the continued development of a <br /> subregional network of trails for bicycles, pedestrians, and equestrians. <br /> Final response to comments with throw page 39 <br />
