CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1332 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF BROOKSIDE DEVELOPMENT <br /> COMPANY/BUDGET RENT-A-CAR FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br /> RE~ONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR AN AUTOMOBILE <br /> SALES AND RETAIL FACILITY ON APPROXIMATELY 2.6 ACRES <br /> LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PIMLICO DRIVE APPROXIMATELY <br /> 650 FEET EAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA RITA ROAD AND <br /> PIMLICO DRIVE (PUD-87-11) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brookside Development Company and Budget Rent-a-Car <br /> applied for Planned Unit Development rezoning and <br /> development plan approval for construction of an <br /> automobile sales and retail facility to be located on an <br /> approximately 2.6 acre site located on the north side of <br /> Pimlico Drive, approximately 650 feet east of the <br /> intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on August 18, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the development plan and <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 18, <br /> 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and <br /> rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of <br /> the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 2.6 acre <br /> site to the PUD (Planned Unit Devel0pment)-C0mmercial <br /> District. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #351, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" dated August 18, 1987, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: Approves the development plan for an automobile sales <br /> and retail facility to be located on an approximately <br /> 2.6 are site on the north side of Pimlico Drive, <br /> approximately 650 feet east of the intersection of Santa <br /> <br /> <br />
