CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 02-086 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL (PAP-33) OF THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION THEREBY UPHOLDING THE APPROVAL OF CASE P ADR-551 WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 12, 2002, the Planning Commission approved the application of Brian Severn (Case PADR-551) for approval to construct an approximately 1,051 sq. ft. addition on the first- and second-floor of the existing single-story home located at 4464 Sierrawood Drive; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-I-6,500 (Single-Family Residential; 6,500 sq. ft. minimum lot size) District; and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Dr. Wilson Myers submitted an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasant on; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on July 16, 2002, at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed addition, as conditioned, would not result in negative impacts to the privacy of the neighbors behind this addition and the proposal has been designed to be consistent with the character of the existing neighborhood in both its architectural style and massing. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Denies Case PAP-33, thereby approving Case PADR-551, the application of Brian Severn for design review approval to construct an approximately 1,051-sq. ft., first- and second-floor addition to the existing single-story home located at 4464 Sierrawood Lane, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. 1'1 I
