<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-086 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL (PAP-33) OF THE <br />DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION THEREBY <br />UPHOLDING THE APPROVAL OF CASE P ADR-551 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 12, 2002, the Planning Commission approved the application <br />of Brian Severn (Case PADR-551) for approval to construct an approximately <br />1,051 sq. ft. addition on the first- and second-floor of the existing single-story <br />home located at 4464 Sierrawood Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-I-6,500 (Single-Family Residential; 6,500 sq. ft. <br />minimum lot size) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Dr. Wilson Myers <br />submitted an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasant on; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council on July 16, 2002, at <br />which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed addition, as conditioned, would not <br />result in negative impacts to the privacy of the neighbors behind this addition and <br />the proposal has been designed to be consistent with the character of the existing <br />neighborhood in both its architectural style and massing. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies Case PAP-33, thereby approving Case PADR-551, the application of Brian <br />Severn for design review approval to construct an approximately 1,051-sq. ft., <br />first- and second-floor addition to the existing single-story home located at 4464 <br />Sierrawood Lane, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B", attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />1'1 I <br />
