<br />DRAFT MASTER PLAN FDR TNE OPTS <br /> <br />ARROYO DEL VALLE <br />EXISTING CONDITIONS <br /> <br />The Arroyo del Valle is a creek with variable <br />flows, running generally from easr ro wesr, fed by rhe <br />reservoir and dam ar Lake del Valle, approximarely <br />8-1/2 miles lo rhe easr of downtown Pleasanton. <br /> <br />For purposes of rhis document, rhe Arroyo is <br />considered lo be rhe area from lOp of bank lo lOp of <br />bank, and from Firsr Sr. on rhe easr, ro rhe UPRR <br />righr of way on rhe wesr. Ir includes a year-round <br />warercourse of varying widrh (generally 15 fro ro 50 <br />fro wide), wirh sreep banks srarring lOgO fro back <br />from the warer's edge. The banks are approximarely <br />15-25 fro high. It is parr of an exrensive wildlife habi- <br />rar, supporring a 100-180 fro wide area of riparian <br />vegerarion.
