CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-084 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2001 BASELINE TRAFFIC <br />REPORT AND NEW TRAFFIC MODEL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 16, 2002, the City Council received the report from the <br /> Public Works Department (SR 02:174) regarding the 2001 Baseline Traffic Report <br /> and new Traffic Model; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby adopts the 2001 Baseline Traffic Report for use in <br />evaluating the impacts of land development projects. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Individual mitigation measures in the 2001 Baseline Traffic Report shall be <br />reviewed on a case by case basis to minimize potential negative impacts to <br />pedestrian and bicycle travel. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The roadway network assumed to be in place under Buildout Conditions in the <br />2001 Baseline Traffic Report are to be reviewed based on project desirability, cost <br />and funding availability, along with other alternative Buildout congestion <br />management measures. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />Authorizes the implementation of the Traffic Metering Program along Sunol <br />Boulevard to reduce City and neighborhood cut-through traffic. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
