CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-077 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> <br />REVISED <br /> <br />EMERGENCY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 16, 2002, the City Council received the report of the Fire <br />Chief (SR 02:150) regarding the revised Emergency Management Plan for the City <br />of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Plan was developed in compliance with the Califomia Standardized <br />Emergency Management System (SEMS), which permits the City to seek state <br />and/or federal reimbursement for costs associated with a disaster; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Plan provides guidelines and checklists for key officials when operating the <br />City's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the planning tools for <br />coordination of essential City functions during all phases of an emergency; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council adopts the Revised Emergency Management Plan, a copy of <br />which is on file in the City Clerk's Office. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JULY 16, 2002 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />II1~ I II i I I [ I I I I <br /> <br /> <br />
