CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1322 <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT TO TITLE 18 (ZONING) PERTAINING TO ALLOWABLE <br /> FRONT YARD FENCES AND STORAGE OF BOATS, TRAILER8 AND <br /> CAMPER SHELLS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 18.84,080 (Front yards - Requirements and <br /> exceptions) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby <br /> amended by the addition of the following subsection: <br /> <br /> "D. Where the main structure on a site encroaches into <br /> the required front yard, a fence in conformance with <br /> subsection 18.84.090(G) of this Section may occupy the <br /> required front yard provided that the fence does not <br /> encroach any further into the required front yard than <br /> the main structure." <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on July 7, 1987. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on July 21, 1987 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmember Wilson <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ~EN~E~HIR.
