CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1320 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO CALIFORNIA PUBLIC <br /> EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM (PER8) TO PROVIDE SECTION <br /> 20024.2 (ONE-YEAR FINAL COMPENSATION) TO LOCAL POLICE <br /> MEMBERS ONLY <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: An amendment to the Contract between the City Council <br /> of the City of Pleasanton and the Board of <br /> Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement <br /> System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment <br /> being attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by such <br /> reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in <br /> full. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said <br /> amendment for and on behalf of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect September 3, 1987. <br /> <br />Section 4: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Pleasanton on July 7, 1987. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on August 4, 1987 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None NE H R.~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> KE OR <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Pe~ D~ MacDSnala, ~y Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
