CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1317 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PUBLIC STORAGE, INC. AND <br /> SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY TO REZONE TWO <br /> SITES, APPROXIMATELY 1.47 ACRES AND 4.2 ACRES, LOCATED <br /> AT THE NORTHWEST AND NORTHEAST CORNERS OF THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF VALLEY AVENUE AND STANLEY BOULEVARD TO <br /> THE "I" (INDUSTRIAL PARK) DISTRICT (RZ-87-3) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc. and Southern Pacific Transportation <br /> Company have applied to have two sites, approximately <br /> 1.47 acres and 4.2 acres, located at the northwest and <br /> northeast corners of the intersection of Valley Avenue <br /> (extension) and Stanley Boulevard rezoned to the "I" <br /> (Industrial Park) District (RZ-87-3); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on June 16, <br /> 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 16, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of two sites, approximately <br /> 1.47 acres and 4.2 acres, located at the northwest and <br /> northeast corners of the intersection of Valley Avenue <br /> (extension) and Stanley Boulevard, to the "I" <br /> (Industrial Park) District with permitted and <br /> conditional uses being those listed in the I-G District <br /> which also generate no more than 4.5 traffic trip ends <br /> per 1,000 sq. ft. Average Daily Traffic. (RZ-87-3) <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #345, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" dated June 16, 1987, and incorporated herein <br /> by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
