CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1317 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PUBLIC STORAGE, INC. AND SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY TO REZONE TWO SITES, APPROXIMATELY 1.47 ACRES AND 4.2 ACRES, LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST AND NORTHEAST CORNERS OF THE INTERSECTION OF VALLEY AVENUE AND STANLEY BOULEVARD TO THE "I" (INDUSTRIAL PARK) DISTRICT (RZ-87-3) WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc. and Southern Pacific Transportation Company have applied to have two sites, approximately 1.47 acres and 4.2 acres, located at the northwest and northeast corners of the intersection of Valley Avenue (extension) and Stanley Boulevard rezoned to the "I" (Industrial Park) District (RZ-87-3); and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on June 16, 1987; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 16, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of two sites, approximately 1.47 acres and 4.2 acres, located at the northwest and northeast corners of the intersection of Valley Avenue (extension) and Stanley Boulevard, to the "I" (Industrial Park) District with permitted and conditional uses being those listed in the I-G District which also generate no more than 4.5 traffic trip ends per 1,000 sq. ft. Average Daily Traffic. (RZ-87-3) Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #345, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated June 16, 1987, and incorporated herein by reference.
