CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1314 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF TRAMMELL CROW COMPANY AND <br /> CALLAHAN, SWEENEY AND O~BRIEN FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> APPROVAL FOR A 212-UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX ON 7.6 ACRES <br /> LOCATED IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY OWENS DRIVE, WEST LAB <br /> POSITA8 BOULEVARD, THE ABANDONED SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br /> TRANSPORTATION COMPANY RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY AND <br /> TASSAJARA CREEK (PUD-S7-3) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Trammell Crow Company and Callahan, Sweeney and O'Brien <br /> applied for development plan approval for construction <br /> of a 212-unit apartment complex, on approximately 7.6 <br /> acres located in the area bounded by Owens Drive, West <br /> Las Positas Boulevard, the abandoned Southern Pacific <br /> Transportation Company railroad right-of-way, and <br /> Tassajara Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on May 19, <br /> 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 19, 1987; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the development plan for a 212-unit <br /> apartment complex, to be located on an approximately 7.6 <br /> acre site located in the area bounded by Owens Drive, <br /> West Las Positas Boulevard, the abandoned Southern <br /> Pacific Transportation Company railroad right-of-way, <br /> and Tassajara Creek, subject to the conditions on <br /> Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein. (PUD-87-3) <br /> <br />Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of <br /> Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times" a <br /> <br /> <br />
