CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-071 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-14 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend Chapter 18.84 (Site, Yard, Bulk, <br />Usable Open Space, and Landscaping Regulations) of the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code, to allow 42-inch tall fences in residential front and street side yard areas); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public heating was held on June 18, 2002, at which time the public <br />was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the <br />proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br /> an adverse effect on fish and wildlife resources. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section I: <br /> <br />Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of City of Pleasanton to <br />amend Chapter 18.84 (Site, Yard, Bulk, Usable Open Space, and Landscaping <br />Regulations) of the Pleasanton Municipal code, to allow 42-inch tall fences in <br />residential front and street side yard areas. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The City Council finds that the proposed project will have a de minimis impact on <br />fish and wildlife resources. <br /> <br /> <br />
