CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-066 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING JOAN LEIGHTY AS <br />PLEASANTON'S REPRESENTATIVE ON THE BAY AREA <br />LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM ADVISORY <br />BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />John Clatworthy has served as the City of Pleasanton's representative on the Bay <br />Area Library and Information System (BALLS) Advisory Board since July 2000, <br />which term will end July 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Library Commission recommends that the City Council appoint Joan Leighty <br /> as the City's new representative to BALIS. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Joan Leighty is hereby appointed as Pleasanton's representative to the Bay Area <br />Library and Information System Advisory Board. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON JUNE 18, 2002 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Michelotti, and Vice Mayor Dennis <br />None <br />Councilmember Campbell and Mayor Pico <br />None <br /> <br /> Peggy(/L.(/Ezqdr0, Cit~l~rk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
