CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1310 <br /> <br /> URGENCY ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE <br /> HOUSING AUTHORITY TO BE HELD ANY TIME BETWEEN MARCH 1 <br /> AND JUNE 30 <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Section 2.36,070(A) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "A. Board Meetings. The Board shall hold an annual <br /> meeting any time between March 1 and June 30 of each <br /> year to consider the budget. Special meetings may be <br /> called as the need arises." <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance is adopted as an urgency measure based <br /> on the need to consider the annual budget as soon as <br /> possible, in order to all HUD approval of the budget <br /> prior to July 1, 1987, the beginning of the fiscal year. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council <br /> of the City of Pleasanton on May 5, 1987 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KENNETH R.
