CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 02-054 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS FOR LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 [PONDEROSAI (PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 2: The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape Assessment District No. 1984-1 (Ponderosa) during fiscal year 2002-03. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as follows: Section 3: Maintenance of a landscape strip north of Corte de Flores on the west side of Paseo Santa Cruz and north of Corte Pacifica on the east side of Paseo Santa Cruz. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip A. Gmbstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. Section 4: Section 5: Section 6: On Tuesday, the 16th day of July 2002, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., the City Council will conduct a public heating on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bemal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
