CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-054 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER <br />IMPROVEMENTS FOR LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 [PONDEROSAI (PURSUANT TO THE <br />LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape <br />Assessment District No. 1984-1 (Ponderosa) during fiscal year 2002-03. The area <br />of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />Maintenance of a landscape strip north of Corte de Flores on the west side of <br />Paseo Santa Cruz and north of Corte Pacifica on the east side of Paseo Santa Cruz. <br /> <br />In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, <br />Philip A. Gmbstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report <br />required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are <br />referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the <br />boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the <br />assessment district. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />Section 5: <br />Section 6: <br /> <br />On Tuesday, the 16th day of July 2002, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., the City Council <br />will conduct a public heating on the question of the levy of the proposed annual <br />assessment. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old <br />Bemal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by <br />the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
