CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-046 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 17, 1989, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 89-36, establishing <br /> compensation for City of Pleasanton Commissioners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />since that time, several new Commissions have been created and it is deemed <br />appropriate to amend Resolution No. 89-36 to include those new Commissions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />when the Youth Commission was formed, the Youth Commissioners did not <br />receive a stipend, but Council now deems it appropriate to pay the Youth <br />Commissioners the same as other City Commissioners. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />City appointed commissioners (including alternates) on the Planning Commission, <br />Parks and Recreation Commission, Housing Commission, Human Services <br />Commission, Library Commission, Civic Arts Commission, and Youth <br />Commission shall receive $50 for each regular or special meeting attended, with a <br />maximum of $100 per month. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
