CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1388 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 27 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED <br /> AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br /> BERNAL AVENUE AND CASE AVENUE TO THE "P" (PUBLIC <br /> AND INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT (RZ-88-8) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an <br /> approximately 27 acre parcel located at the <br /> southwest corner of the ~ntersection of Bernal <br /> Avenue and Case Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br /> no significant adverse effects on the environment, <br /> a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> October 18, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on <br /> October 18, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the <br /> City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 27 <br /> acre parcel located at the southwest corner of the <br /> intersection of Bernal Avenue and Case Avenue to <br /> the "P" (Public and Institutional) District <br /> (RZ-88-8). <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning <br /> districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map <br /> #365, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated <br /> October 18, 1988, and incorporated herein by <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section <br /> 5.4(g) of Resolution NO. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
