CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1388 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 27 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF BERNAL AVENUE AND CASE AVENUE TO THE "P" (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL) DISTRICT (RZ-88-8) WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an approximately 27 acre parcel located at the southwest corner of the ~ntersection of Bernal Avenue and Case Avenue; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on October 18, 1988; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the prezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 18, 1988; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 27 acre parcel located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Case Avenue to the "P" (Public and Institutional) District (RZ-88-8). Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #365, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated October 18, 1988, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution NO. 77-66.
