CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1384 <br /> <br /> AMENDMENTTO PMC 9.04.045 REGARDING OPERATION OF <br /> T~AF BLOWERS IN BUSINESS PARKS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 9.04.045 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> is hereby amended to add subsection C to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> C. Business Parks <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding any other provision of this section <br /> 9.04.045, motor powered leaf blowers may be <br /> operated at any time within the area bounded by <br /> 1-580 on the north, Foothill Road and Hopyard Road <br /> on the west, Santa Rita Road on the east, and <br /> Stoneridge Drive (between Foothill and Hopyard <br /> Road) and Arroyo Mocho boundary on the south and <br /> also the two business parks commonly referred to as <br /> Koll Center and Valley Business Park. However, <br /> this subsection shall not be effective for those <br /> portions of the areas described above which are <br /> within 300 feet of a residence. <br /> <br />Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley <br /> Times," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) <br /> days after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton on September 20, 1988. <br /> <br /> <br />
