CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 02-039 WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2002 WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF WEEDS, RUBBISH OR REFUSE UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON at its meeting of March 19, 2002, the Council adopted Resolution No. 02-031, declaring as a public nuisance all weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton as more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A", attached thereto; and Resolution No. 02-031 was adopted pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 39560-39588; and Resolution No. 02-031 designated April 16, 2002, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, as the time, date and place to hear and consider objections to the abatement and removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 02-031; and the Fire Inspector was charged with the responsibility to perform the duties imposed by Government Code Sections 39560-39588, and he did prepare notices to destroy weeds and remove rubbish and refuse; and the City Clerk, in accordance with Government Code Section 39567.1, did mail written notice of the proposed abatement and removal and the public hearing to all persons owning property described in Resolution No. 02-031; and the City Council did hold a public hearing on April 16, 2002 and no protests were presented; and abatement of the nuisance may be performed by the City or by a contractor; and before the weeds are abated by the City or a contractor, any properly owner may remove the weeds, rubbish or refuse at the property owner's own expense;
